Is there a difference between Lumineers and normal Veneers?
Lumineers offer your dentist the opportunity to correct irregularities in your teeth alignment or colouration by using a very thin laminate. These are called Lumineers and are much thinner than conventional veneers. The advantage is that, because they are so thin, little if any of your tooth structure needs to be removed, so the process can even be reversed. The Lumineers can even be bonded to existing crowns.
Lumineers are made of Cerinate which is a very strong material, even in very thin section.
This is a relatively new technique and not all dentists provide Lumineers.
