Disability
Having a disability should not adversely affect your level of dental care.
If you don't have a dentist already then contact your local primary care trust for advice on the nearest practice. Your choice of practice may be affected by your mobility - if you need wheelchair access for example. Your Primary Care Trust will find a practice with disabled access for you. Some dentists have a greater level of experience in special care dentistry - they usually work in the Community Dental Service. If your disability might inhibit you receiving care in a general dental practice, you should approach the Community Dental Service through the Primary Care Trust or your doctor. The same would apply if you are housebound.
